Opto-magnonics 2019 in Cambridge

We are organising a small, two-day workshop in Cambridge (UK) on 9th and 10th September 2019.

Following two successful workshops on optomagnonics/spin-cavitronics in 2017 and 2018, we wish to continue this theme with Optomagnonics Cambridge in 2019. The focus of the workshop will be both on recent progress in hybrid magnon-photon systems, as well as on wider connecting themes, such as Bose-Einstein Condensation of magnons, hybrid spin systems, and angular momentum of optically levitated particles. We hope to that the overarching theme of angular momentum coupled to electromagnetic modes will lead to new ideas and collaborations among interested speakers.
